I waited 4 episodes to really dive into it for a longer period of time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that the many A-list actors gave us who contributed to the creation of this work, which, by the way, despite mixed reviews, is entertaining and well-received by many. Many viewers have been told stories from a similar perspective, but this perspective here remains exciting as you move on to a confusing but thoughtful plot with female leads, each of whom confidently holds our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through the series, we can’t yet tell if that sense of urgency will remain at its current level as we learn more about what’s going on, but given the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they were able to bring to the screen, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, especially given the solid foundations of the series.
